Who: Lucy Heartfilia and Lestat de Lioncourt
When: February 16th before dawn.
Where: Some random street between the Training Center and the Apartment Complex
What: Lucy encounters a hungry vampire on her way home. Nutbunnies~!
She didn't normally leave this early to go jogging or train at the center, but she'd felt she needed - and wanted - the extra time to train both physically and otherwise. It was equally exhausting increasing her mana, and training with her whip, but it was a good exhausting. It felt like she made a lot more progress, and that was what she wanted.
Of course, walking back to the unit as dark as it was, she wasn't paying as much attention to her surroundings. She walked that route countless times before, she could do it in her sleep if she had to! ... probably. So if she let her mind wander back to the events of the previous day, who could blame her?
It wasn't like she -regretted- it really, but... maybe she just... handled it badly. No no maybe about it. She knew she did. Freaked out BOTH of her friends no less. She wasn't worried that much about Natsu because ...well, he was Natsu. Erza was the one who thought she was --which she most certainly was not because that would be... .... well -- it'd be --
BAH. She was just going to put it out of her mind, explain to Erza she was so very very wrong, and... work on things from there. Yeah. Good plan Lucy! That in mind, she started down the street, glancing around. Huh. It was. . really kinda dark and creepy at this hour ahaha...

He drew closer and closer, to the point where he was on a rooftop adjacent to where she was on the roads. He had been stalking her all night, and the fact that she was fatigued wasn't lost on him.
Naturally, when she stopped like that, he made his move.
{{ OOC: Permission for Spell Gift granted over AIM. }}
Lucy would start hearing a voice in her ear. An overwhelming calming sensation, only adding to her natural fatigue. She might even start feeling sleepy. It was a natural ability of higher-tier vampires known as the Spell Gift, which they usually used to place their intended victim under a hypnotic trance, making feeding easier.

"Huh...?" What... was that just now? Her steps slowed a little, frowning as the spell fell over her. What had she been thinking about a few minutes ago? ... it was actually kind of hard to think about that - she was just tired, she supposed. Maybe she overdid it at the training center. She stretched one arm over her head, followed by the other, letting out a slow sigh, before she raised her hand to rub her eyes, groggily. Merphfl.

"Hello there," Lestat greeted. It sounded like a whisper, yet was still perfectly audible, as if he had spoken loudly. He approached her, as if this entire scene had been choreographed. "You're out awfully late. The other transports must be so worried."
A second later, despite him walking towards her, he was gone, vanished into thin air. "Boo," he taunted, now standing adjacent to her on another side entirely. He was leaning in. "I haven't eaten since yesterday. I'm too good for that packaged bile they serve in the infirmary. But you're too nice to leave me starving, aren't you? Yes... I can tell."

When she refocused on the street, she actually flinched backwards in surprise because that guy was NOT there a second ago."E-eh..? Where did..." It was really hard to focus, and she was tired - so tired. There was something about the guy -
"Late... y-yeah I was..." She was training. And now she was on the way somewhere else. There was something vaguely wrong about this scenario - she took a step back wards, lifting a hand to rub at her eyes again.
GAH! THERE it was again, he was just -gone-. "Wha-" She let out a startled gasp at the voice coming from the side this time, with Lestat leaning in and when did he GET there? "I..." Get away. Get away, move, run away - she wants to say and do all of these things but her body wouldn't move the way she wanted it to, and her thoughts were ...fuzzy. Unfocused. Like it wasn't...quite...real. "Who... are you?"
What was going on?

He smirks at her reaction. Poor thing. Magical, but is freaked out by the supernatural. "You were what? Bored? Adventuresome?" He asks, keeping his voice low in an attempt to vaguely disguise his accent. "Don't worry. It only hurts for a moment."
She starts backing up, but he can tell the Spell Gift is working. She can't. Even if she wanted to, which she so clearly does. Lucy would feel ice-cold hands reaching out for hers. "I'll be nice. I won't even go a major vein or artery."
Her hand is raised to his face, cupping her palm to his cheek in a vague show of affection. Her thumb however, is near his lip; and in a flash of white, pearl-like fangs, the tip of her thumb is pierced almost half a centimeter deep. Blood starts gushing out, into his mouth. He grins, bleach-white teeth stained red. His own hand rises to her cheek; she's surprisingly resistant to the Spell Gift, and it takes much more of a conscious effort than he's used to to try to control her emotions.

Lucy frowns at the question, "No I... I was training-" It only hurts for a moment -? Why can't she move away? Move - MOVE damnit -"What do you think... you're doing..?" Ugh it's disgusting how sluggish she felt. She didn't feel THIS tired when she left - was it something this guy was doing? Some kind of magic OH MY GOD HIS HANDS ARE LIKE ICE.
"S...Stop -" Her hand in his twitched as he brought it to his face, brown eyes widening in alarm at the sight of him biting her thumb, a sharp gasp escaping. "L... let..." Come on Lucy don't just -stand- there and let this happen. Is this the extent of your strength of will?
HELL NO. But it still took a fair amount of effort for her to even move a LITTLE the way she wanted to, and she certainly didn't want him putting his hands on her, this ... alabaster... vampire. Whatever he did, it was hard to focus enough to move - to try to stop but - she had to. She had to.
To think she wrote about vampires in her stories, and never once thought she'd ever encounter one. Nonetheless, she cringed at the feel of his hand against her cheek, her body straining to pull her hand back. "Let -GO- of me!" She demanded.

While she pulls back, he doesn't let any distance be created between them. "The more you struggle, the more adrenaline you build. And adrenaline adds a nice flavor to blood."

"You can't... do this -!" Well he can and IS, so she's wrong on both counts there and EXCUSE ME Personal Space please. Lestat didn't seem to want to give her any, "I ....won't... let you-" But the words were hard to form, her body warring with the urge to just - rest. To stop fighting. Even after that effort to yank her hand away seemed to tire her out, but she clenched her fist in an attempt to focus. "Stay away from me -" How could he talk to her that way - as if he was doing her a favor?
No, her nature demanded that she fight to the bitter end - she willed herself to move. To move - come on MOVE. And when she finally forced her leg to move, it bumped into the wall of the alley. Somehow she'd managed to get maneuvered so her back was to the wall. Shit. Not good.

"This, mon cher, is how the rabbit feels when it sees the wolf." Suddenly, the near-angelic beauty of Lestat turned rather terrifying. His lips curled back, and she just might get her first real glimpse at his fangs. She wouldn't get to look long, though; in no time at all, she'd feel a sharp, piercing pain in her neck, though he seems to be avoiding her jugular vein or carotid artery. Good thing, too, because that would be a death sentence.

ANd then that face. Gone were his good looks, replaced by ...by that. Her stomach felt like it had dropped to the soles of her feet, and when she saw his fangs, knew he was about to close in, she let out an involuntary shriek that cut off into a strangled noise as those fangs pierced her neck. It was a VERY good thing he was avoiding any major arteries. SHe liked living.
But feeling the blood exit through those puncture wounds, well - it's not surprise that some of it gets on her clothes (And she LIKED that shirt Q_Q). It's even less of a surprise that the fight goes right out of her the more the blood is drained from her. Naturally in the sluggishness of her thoughts, in the fear that this would be it - that her thoughts immediately flew to the two most important people in her life. And neither of them would know what happened. Natsu...Erza...
Believe you her, she is going to be SO RELIEVED major arteries are avoided. SO RELIEVED.

"That's it, mon amour. It's all over now." She might continue bleeding, but it won't kill her. At least, not unless she got treatment relatively soon. "That wasn't so bad, was it?"
Lestat then turned away from her, slowly leaving. "The effects of the hypnosis will be gone in an hour or so. You won't remember my face, but it won't hard to figure out what happened. You're surprisingly strong willed; there might be some things you remember." That blood... magical blood... he can't remember the last time he tasted blood that good. Akasha, maybe? "We'll be in touch."
And just like that, he was gone. Vanished, into thin-air.

She took a step backwards, only half hearing his words, her back pressing against the wall. She had enough presence of mind to cast a glare at his back as he started walking away, cursing his actions and hating her own inability to do more to stop them. But her blood ran cold again at his last words, and as the last of the strength gave out in her legs, she toppled over. We'll be in touch.
Can she take a raincheck?
Fortunately, she would be found before -too- long, due to certain celestial spirits, but for now, she collapsed on the (Dirty dirty gross and icky) ground.
Until Virgo finds her.
