IT'S PARTY TIME!
Date & Time: May 29, afternoon and evening.
Location: The Hold training rooms.
Characters: All the cool people.
Summary: It's a goddamn birthday party!
Warnings: ....It's... Tony's. Goddamn birthday party. So.
[ Welcome to the training rooms. Welcome to the party.
Everywhere's done up in no-doubt tasteful and not at all garish or, should I say, ostentatious, reds and golds and shit. Birthday type stuff. Amazing, birthday type stuff, surely, because the decorators Pepper hired are top notch.
And that music? Damn, son.
There's food too, by Exsilium's finest caterers. And the lights are moving and the bodies are writhing and dancing and somewhere Tony's avoiding Pepper in the middle of it because she's irritated with him and he's more interested in talking to people who aren't annoyed with him. ]
Hey! I'd like to say a thing. [ Yeah, he's totally not drunk, or at least on his way to it. ] A think about how... Awesome, it is, that you all showed up to my birthday party, seriously, this is great. And Pepper. Pepper, my Pepper, made this whole thing, so make you you lavish her with compliments and make her feel uncomfortable for how good a job she did. And have fun! Keep having fun, go for it. You need anything, we get low on something, somebody let me know. I'm going back to, you know, actually enjoying my party. Have fun! [ And he's disappearing back into the midst of the party. Everybody have fun! ]

She isn't doing much moving, maybe tapping her foot to the bass.]

Saul's been looking for her. As soon as he spots her, he literally slides over with a big, lopsided grin on his face. Then, instead of yelling over the music, he gestures for her to follow him back out onto the dance floor. She'll totally agree, right?]
no subject
And she was not dancing with him. Lisbeth gives him a stern shake of her head.]
no subject
When Lisbeth shakes her head, he feigns a dramatic pout and takes a step back, following that up with a "come hither" wag of his finger. If she thinks he's going to give up that easily, she's way off.]
no subject
Besides, there was only one circumstance where she enjoyed the "come hither" gesture of a finger.]

His hand drops to his side when that method doesn't work. Not that he thought it would. In fact, he's pretty sure this is as futile an attempt as any, but he'd be lying if he said he didn't think it was fun.
You know. Annoying people.
Unfazed by her complete lack of enthusiasm, he slips around to her other side and makes an attempt to snatch her drink in the process.]
no subject
You're a motherfucker.
no subject
C'mon. Dance with me and I'll give it back.
no subject
But she paid money for that drink and she hadn't drank that much. Lisbeth was at a personal crossroads.
She decides she hates him as she follows him out onto the dance floor.]
no subject
See? This isn't so bad, right?
[If she thinks it'll be that easy to get her drink back, she's wrong — a handful of seconds out there with him won't cut it. He'll be holding her glass hostage for at least five minutes.]

[So much mock-offense.]
Goodness, Lizzy. That's a bit dramatic.
no subject
Don't call me that.
no subject
[He pouts. For that, she can have her drink back.]
What about Beth? Bethy? Best of both worlds.
no subject
My name is Lisbeth.
no subject
[Party pooper.
Still, he's grinning.]
Thanks for the dance.
