wolfmd and Saul

Summary: two guys who don't know each other sharing a living space, and possibly dinner
Warnings: should be pretty tame
Sharing a living space was something Isaac liked to think he did very well. When he knew the other people, at least. It was his nature to be social, and to want company, but also to be a little territorial.
Which was why he spent as little time as possible in the apartment the Initiative had given him. The scents of other people that he didn't know and trust got his hackles up--literally, sometimes--and the man, Saul, was newer. He'd been avoiding the other man especially, and Isaac was pretty sure it had been noticed in their brief encounters.
So to make it up to his roommate, and to ease the loneliness and other things Isaac was pointedly not thinking about, he'd made enough for two tonight. Well, himself and a normal human with a normal appetite. So enough, to feed a small army, and didn't that make him smile a little? Saul had probably noticed that too.
The cooking meat made his mouth water, and it was all Isaac could do not to sneak a bite or three as he carried the platters out of the kitchen area. The greens and vegetables were already waiting, so there was nothing else but to announce the meal.
"There's extra if you're hungry!"

So the announcement gets him to poke his head out of his room, head tilted curiously. Was that aimed at him? Is someone else in the apartment?
The answers are yes and no, respectively. Apparently. Which is why he makes his way out to the kitchen, drawn entirely by the smell and the fact that he hasn't had a proper meal in... since his arrival, most likely.
"Do I wanna know where this meat came from?"
A joking question, mostly because Saul still isn't sure where any food comes from, in this place.
