Go go Random Socializer (OPEN)
WHO: Lucy and OPEN
WHEN: A day or so after the bombing stopped
WHERE: Random Places! Your Pick~!
WHAT: Helping out with restoring the Fairy Hall // Down Time
Warnings: Again I say PSH to you.
{Route A}
[ Fairy Hall didn't take too bad of a hit during the bombing, but it would still take a few weeks before it was back to its former glory - or as close to it as they could get. Unlike the others helping out with repairs, Lucy wasn't as physically strong, so she was making full use out of the assistance of her spirits. In this case, Taurus, her strongest spirit, was helping her clear parts of where the side of the building collapsed so they could resume work. While Lucy hefted smaller planks of wood, Taurus handled some of the heavier ones. Still, Lucy was getting a little worn out from the exertion and using her mana to keep Taurus summoned, so extra assistance would not be turned away. Help a wizard out? ]
{Route B}
[ After a few hours of work, Lucy began to feel a little under the weather, (shh, Garnet, it's TOTALLY not a cold it's...uh..magic exhaustion), so she'd sent Taurus back to the spirit world for the time being. A break was absolutely needed, which would be why the girl would be found taking a break - coughing on occasion, at first near the outskirts of the city, then making her way back to her apartment with a curious little snowman like creature (i.e. Plue) walking at her side to keep her company. Feel free to run into her on the way home~! ]

Oh, Lucy, hello.
Re: B
Ah, Sango, hi!
[ She slows to a stop, which is apparently the trembling spirit's cue to bump into the back of her leg, pausing to peer around it at Kirara. ]

What's that, by your legs?
no subject
[ Lucy grins, looking towards the celestial spirit clinging to her ankle at this point. At her encouragement, the spirit cautiously steps out, lifting a small paw-hand to wave to Sango and Kirara. ]
Pu-puun...!
[ Lucy grins, leaning down to pet the little guy on the head, then straightens again to turn to Sango. ]
He's one of my celestial spirits, Plue. Who's your friend? Is she - or he - a spirit too? I've never seen an animal like that before.
no subject
[Kirara chirrups a meow to supplement the statement.]
How exactly does one acquire celestial spirits?
no subject
[ Lucy giggles at the meow, leaning over curiously. ]
She's really cute! Does she have a name?
[ Straightening again, Lucy smiles at the demon hunter. ]
Well, you'd have to have their key - but having the key alone isn't enough. You have to make a contract with them; it's their choice to agree to contract with you or not, and your responsibility to honor their wishes and protect them just as you would any of your friends.
no subject
A contract...? That entails just helping them, or doing something specific?
no subject
[ Beaming, Lucy considered the question. ]
If they need help, I'll do anything I can to help them, but the bond between us is like a promise between spirit and summoner. Normally they use some of my magic power to be able to cross from their world to this one. Although there are times that they pass through the Gate without my help, if the contract between us is strong enough. But I protect, respect and love them, and the same goes vice versa.

[It's kind of an alien concept, but.]
Is it common in your world? Summoners and spirits?

[ Who knew Demons could be so cute? ]

[ Lucy pauses to peer at Plue, who only shrugs. No ma'am, he only has the one form. Really! ]
