(no subject)

Date & Time: June 26th!!
Location: Apartment 306
Characters: Joan Watson and Maya Fey
Summary: Joan steps into the apartment and finds a girl in the fridge. ALREADY A GOOD START?
Warnings: Maya

[The fridge was empty (quel surprise) and it had taken some creative shelf-arranging, but hey, she'd gotten in there.]

[(It wasn't like there were any waterfalls around... and the shower pressure was too low, she had to do something to train...)]

[Okay, so she'd made sure to stick something to keep the door slightly open this time, and settled herself as comfortably as she could. (All this effort had made her hungry) Pressing her hands together, she squeezed her eyes shut and tried to concentrate]

[She wasn't expecting anyone else. On the flip side, who could expect.... this?]

[Joan didn't have much with her in terms of bags or belongings, so physically moving her things wasn't the problem. Finding the apartment was probably a bit more of a challenge, but even then, she had run into some kind enough transfers who were willing to point her in the right direction so that wasn't the problem either.

What the problem was, was that upon entering the apartment and taking a quick look around to see if anyone was home, Joan found nothing. Well, nothing except the fridge door being propped open with a can of peas. With a furrow in her brow, she stepped forward, pull it away only to recoil in shock when she saw a foot casually sitting in the fridge.]

Oh my god - !

[Why does she always room with the strange and quirky ones. Why. Things were so much easier when she had her own place.

Not being a one to wimp out though, she reaches out a little hesitantly, nudging the fridge door open wider to reveal that there's actually an entire body sitting in there. Don't panic, Joan. It's just your new roommate...that appears to be dead? She lets out kind panicked noise as she quickly places fingers to the girl's neck because dear lord, if this is a dead body she doesn't want to live in this apartment anymore.]

AUGHHH!!

[It's not the most graceful of sounds, but THE BODY IS SUDDENLY ALIVE AND SCREAMING WHY IS THIS HAPPENING. Joan immediately recoils back, tripping over her own feet as she does and she falls squarely back on her butt, eyes wide.]

Why were you in the fridge?! I thought you were dead!

Training? In the fridge? What kind of training could you be doing in the fridge?!

[Joan doesn't understand. She's not sure she wants to understand. She brandishes her hand at Maya in wild motions.]

I was making sure you weren't dead! And apparently I'm supposed to be living here! They just failed to let me know that I'd find a body in the fridge once I got here.

[She would have replied all of that because: spirit medium, what? But she's abruptly cut off at the sudden change in Maya's attitude. Pardon the look and slight dryness to her voice, Maya. It's been a rough couple of weeks.]

...It's not usually the first thing that people say to a body in their fridge.
