WHAT: Two book nerds meeting up at the library to book nerd it up

[ Not wanting to stay in her apartment all weekend long, tempting as it was, and with her arm still hurt, Lucy decided to head out to the library for a change in surroundings, and to do a little reading. Plue was riding on her shoulder contentedly, though he cast a worried glance towards the girl every now and again. With her right arm in a sling, she wouldn't be able to carry any books home. Too bad! Any visitors to the library or fellow book nerds would probably spy Lucy browsing the books idly with her little companion. ]

[Elizabeth had been given a map of the various libraries when she'd first arrived, and was in the process of finally checking out each one now that they weren't being sent into space or to the beach. She can't hide the smile on her face as she enters, tucking her tablet (with said map) into the shoulder bag she'd scrounged up as she looks around.]

[Oh it was wonderful! She'd thought her own small library in her tower had been amazing (at least until she'd read through it several times) but this...She actually makes a happy sound as she goes hunting through the stacks in search of whatever catches her eyes.]

[ Hearing the entry of someone else, Lucy turned to investigate who just entered. Because she is nosy like that. ]

Oh! It's you!

[ How very astute, Lucy. Though in her defense things got a little bit CRAZY later, so .. okay that was no excuse. ]

Elizabeth, right?

[Elizabeth has already found a book, and she's excitedly leafing through it when the other girl appears. Her eyes go a bit wide as she stares at the girl, remembering her but it takes her a moment to really place her.]

[In her defense, remembering names is kind of new.]

Yes, that's me. [A smile and a nod.] And you're...Lucy.

[Please be right...]

[ Lucy grins a bit more, nodding quickly. ]

Right! And this is Plue. [ She motions to her shoulder buddy. ]

I didn't expect to run into you here since the day at the beach. Though it's kind of silly to say that now that I think about it.

[She offers the little creature a small smile.] Hello Plue.

[It seemed polite, after all!]

Well, the city is so large, but there are so few of us we're bound to recognize each other when we run into each other, right?

[ Plue was the most polite after all. Or - well, maybe not the -most- polite. But he was certainly the cutest! Lucy giggles softly at the latter, nodding. ]

Yes, absolutely! My memory isn't that bad with names. A friend of mine has a really terrible memory - it's really funny to think of how he mangles some names.

What have you got there?

[ Nosy Lucy is Nosy, but, BOOK. ]

I'm still getting used to needing to remember names, honestly, but I think I'm getting the hang of it.

[She holds up the book.]

Oh, this? It's...a physics text, I believe, I'd only just picked it up when you found me.

Don't feel bad. My best friend once called me Luigi instead of Lucy. COMPLETELY wrong gender!

[ She'd been a little annoyed about that for all of ...oh, two seconds. She tilts her head curiously at the book. ]

Physics? So you're into that kind of thing?

Luigi. [Elizabeth somehow can't picture the girl as a Luigi, for probably obvious reasons. But then back to the book!]</small. Oh yes, I love reading and learning about these sorts of things, they're fascinating.

[ Lucy nodded to confirm that yes, Natsu had called her 'Luigi' at first. ]

Don't laugh.

[ Or do, she doesn't really mind that much. ]

You don't say? Are you a scientist or something back home?

I'm not! [She protested. She was smiling, though.]

Oh...no. I just...enjoy reading about it.

[ HMMM. Okay she'll believe that, Elizabeth. She grins though ]

Really? That kind of thing is a bit much for me - I usually read a lot of these fiction stories and things. Have you read any of them?

Oh yes, my library was full of fiction books. And science, and religion, and philosophy...I read all of them several times.

Whoah...! And I thought I read a lot of books - you must really love libraries.

Oh, I do! Well, and I had...a lot of free time.

I would say so if you've read so much more than once! But aside from reading, you must have gotten out right? [ After all there's more to the world than libraries! ]

No...well, not until very recently, it's...pretty complicated. I never left my tower until Booker came and let me out.

Why... didn't you ever leave?

[ Well she could be a shut in, Lucy. :I ]

Is Booker a friend of yours?

I couldn't. I was locked in and I never figure out how to pick the lock on that door.

[Other doors were doomed when she faced them, though.]

It's fine. Aside from being trapped, life in my tower was...nice. And Booker is...I suppose he's a friend, yes.
