Man, what do you actually do in a situation like this? Well, let's start by closing the drapes very quickly and hoping he didn't see her. And then, uh... wait till he gives up and goes away? Would he give up and go away? Or he could just break the door down, if he knocks again. So before that can happen, she pipes up after all.]
What part of "I'm not going" don't you understand?
no subject
[And he sees you, that wasn't sneaky, you are not sneaky and you forget how much he enjoys watching things, and how good he is at it. He's just about to knock, in that same manner that jostled the door on it's hinges before he hears Aradia, so he stops.]
Aradia, come out now.

After a few moments, the door opens slightly, enough that part of her STRONGly annoyed face can be seen.]
I told you, I don't do any fighting anymore. How did you know where I live, anyway?
no subject
I immediately made it a goal to find out upon your arrival. Let's go. You don't want to fight, I just want to see to your physical well being. This is an order.

But you probably shouldn't do that because comparing him to a hoofbeast would end very awkwardly. At any rate, this is sort of a no-win situation. Then the rationalizing part of her thinkpan kicks in. Maybe it won't be so bad. I like getting exercise anyway. Maybe he does genuinely want to look after me, in that awkward patronizing way he does things, rather than just being a creep... Only I don't need looking after, and I can get exercise on my own time, and he's just going to ogle me the whole time, and he sort of is a stalkercreep who last I knew was dating a great multiplicity of my robotic doubles-
Of course, this whole internal exchange only takes a few seconds normally, after which Aradia lets out a long-suffering sigh.]
I want to make this clear, Equius. You can't order me around, because that is not how I work. If I do go, I want it to be with the understanding that I'm only doing it in the probably futile hope that you'll shut up about it, and to prevent any serious injury to this poor unsuspecting door.

ahem, nevermind.]
You and I both know I have every right to order you, being better than you, but I'll fully acknowledge how extremely unruly you are now. Though it displeases me so, you were so exquisitely servile back then. [A small kind of sad sigh. Oh Aradia, back when you'd listen to him and go with whatever and- destroy things for him for no reason. It was perfect, beautiful.]
[Pushes up his sunglasses, starting to walk again.]
Look at it how you want. [But you're coming with him either way. Even if you put your own spin on it. And he'll just enjoy thinking that it's his doing that got you to follow, because he's like that. Nothing new.]

Fine, let's get this over with.

even if it is... fetching, is a disgusting kind of way.]
What was your chosen weapon upon arriving here? [Said as he walks infront of her, giving her a good view of his bow. It's not like she's used to with him, not wood, so not his favorite. He still partakes in the breaking of lesser bows of course, in his free time... But this bow couldn't been composite at one time, and perhaps it's core is still, but it's material is so much sturdier now, shiny, metallic, something extremely sleek but at the same time having a bulkier feel to it that matches Equius to a degree. The quiver's to match, all sturdy, well constructed, and complex. Definitely not one of those wooden bows...]

Just my old whip. [She doesn't even take it out, it's nothing special.]

It's not really important. I think I was just feeling nostalgic.
*could've, wtf self
Though since you are so very persistent on not allowing the Initiative to rope you into their forces, choosing, I suppose it makes sense for you to decline their offers of weapons too. I appreciate your sense of self, they aren't who you should be answering to anyway.
