[OPEN] Tonight is the night, we’ll fight 'til it’s over
Date & Time: Saturday 31st, starting at 9:00 pm o'clock
Location: THE PARTY WAREHOUSE
Characters: ERRBODY
Summary: Ella throws a party. It is awesome. Get your asses in here people. With subthreads for maximum OCDness.
Warnings: Drunk people, loud music, teenage drama! Nothing bad overall though.
[ It was seriously happening.
Food? Check.
Drinks? Check.
Lights? Check.
Music? Check.
DJ ClaudsterRedhead? Check.
There was no time for yet another complete check up, it was now or never. Ella fought the urge of making it a "never" and decided that whatever happened was already out of her control. Best intentions and all, whether it turned to be a great party or not depended on the people that would come. All she hoped was that the guests didn't destroy the place; she was kind of thinking about a future party to come and finding one good spot had been difficult enough.
But enough dillydallying, it was party time! ]]
((OOC:PLEASE WAIT WHILE I PUT THE SUBTHREADS UP. GO GO GO))

((OOC:
doofus #2 to the rescue
Well, it is if you're Sango, and the music (along with what may have been spiked punch) is starting to make your head ache.
She is having fun; it's just that this place is pretty weird and very exhausting. To the point where the 'safe zone' she is returning to now is Blaine, of all people.]
This is really strange music. Is it typical where you come from?
no subject
No, our music is more electronic sounding. This is older than what i'm used to, but it's fun.
no subject
[She's okay, really! Just not all that outgoing.]

[Don't hang around a bunch of guys his age. He will worry, at least marginally, about the future health prospects of anyone who tried anything on her. Sango herself would be fine, naturally.]
That way I don't have to get creative with the clothes next time.
[Sango is currently wearing a men's shirt as a dress. It is super cute, but still, don't ask how he knows how to do that.]
no subject
I do have friends my own age... [Well, she has Jaime, and Coby?, who are not girls and therefore cannot lend her clothes very effectively. And possibly Rosette, but she's a nun from the 1920s. Sango frowns.] Well, enough, anyway.
[Sango, most of the people you surround yourself with are grown men. Or not human. This is sort of a problem.]
no subject
Oh yeah? More than two? [He sounds so skeptical about this. Even if they were guys her age, that would be something. Most of his friends were guys, and the women he was around were badass.]
no subject
[Because, you know, sixteen totally counts as adulthood.]
no subject
Acquaintances are good, regardless of age, but there's something about living through the same things with people who're the same age.
[Making the same mistakes. Laughing about them. At the grown woman thing there's a slight tilt to his head and he eyes her, but doesn't respond to that. Different time periods, different lives. He considered her a young woman, grown in body only, but he wasn't out to insult her.]
no subject
[Which is sort of depressing because it's more enduring than living most of the time, but shh.]
no subject
[He is not sarcastic as he says this, and reaches over to pat her shoulder. It looked like it was going for her head for a second, but changed his mind. His voice is low to prevent it carrying, but not enough so it's super suspicious.]
Running around chasing after a baboon man sounds exciting, but not necessarily fun.
no subject
It's not. But that doesn't mean I don't know how to be happy, you know. For a long time that was all I knew how to be.
[She may not have realized it at the time. But you never do realize how good you have things until they're gone, right?]
no subject
[He matches her baleful look with his own more concerned one.]
no subject
While all the Exiles are miserable.
no subject
no subject
That's not what I mean.
no subject
Then what do you mean?
no subject
no subject
[He's looking at her intently.]
I refuse to let them dictate how much I can enjoy my life. I want you to find what makes you happy here and protect it.
no subject
I think I've already found it.
no subject
Good.
[Changing the subject.]
Have you danced yet?
no subject
no subject
[He's moving to herd her towards the dance floor.]
no subject
[She resists, gently but firmly.]
