Location: the facility where the Transporter is being housed
Characters: Feferi and/or Sollux and YOU!
Summary: Feferi and Sollux have set up a little card table and are handing out gear and generally making themselves available. Anyone is welcome to come get gear, say hi, hang out, or whatever. (Also, any DITR members are invited to help her out, or man the table at other hours, let me know so I can edit this header!)
Warnings: none!

[ Just as promised, Feferi has herself a little table and two chairs, and has set herself up at it. Sollux has joined her as well, and they've set out some of their stocked gear out for show, but not all of it; just in case anyone questioned if this was the right place to go. She hasn't thought to have a sign, and she seems mostly interested in her tablet or whatever conversation she's having with Sollux at the moment, at least until someone comes close enough for her to flash them a big toothy smile and a little wave. Sollux isn't nearly as exuberantly friendly, more bored than anything. but isn't being immediately antagonistic, if nothing else. ]

[Because up until this point, he and that comforter had been inseparable since arriving in this frozen wasteland of a city.]

If you're going to keep complaining then just go and get it! I don't want people thinking that we are keeping the best stuff for ourselves though.

But we are. It's the best blanket in the city.

[Is he being sweet here, since it's the blanket Feferi got him? No. He's genuinely convinced the rest of the blankets are inferior to his comforter.]

Since they made soft things that made me warm. Unlike thome trolls here, putting their ice cold fins all over me when I'm sleeping.

[reassures]

[Nill was indeed sort of questioning if this was the right place for her to go, so she's glad that the two hanging out at the tablet have made their intentions obvious. She responds to Feferi's toothy smile with a wave of her own, and a slight smile directed at Sollux as well. She pulls her tablet out before she's even at the table, and by the time she stops in front of them there's already something typed up on the screen. She holds it up for both of them to look at.]

Hello. Do you still have any waterproof gloves?

[biwinning]

Oh, you're mute too?

[Hello mute girl, he is quite good friends with a mute boy, have perhaps you two met...

Either way, that fact alone makes him a lot less ornery towards her.]

Yeah, we do. Just one pair?

[reassures]

[Too? Nill isn't terrible surprised that there's another mute person in Exsilium, but the slight look of confusion on her face speaks for itself. If there's another mute person here then she's definitely not met them.

Hey that's not a bad question though. After debating it for a moment, she types up another message.]

Do you have many to spare? Some of the people I'm living with could probably use them as well-- if they don't I'll give them to someone else, or bring them back here.

Yeah, we have extras but not a whole lot. What are you using it for? I'm athking for...

[He turns to face Feferi, with a little bit of a whispered tone but not much of one.]

Fuck, Feferi, why do I have to ask what they want it for? Like, inventory?

For gloves? You don't!

[ She sets aside her tablet; she thought you had this handled, Sollux! ]

Who do you need them for? If they are not around and can't come here, we are more than happy to bring them some!

[reassures]

[Man, if her wings weren't stuck under her jacket they would definitely be fluttering awkwardly right now. As it is though Nill just shakes her head, and when she types up another reply she tries to make sure they can both see it.]

Kido Tsubomi and Kano Shuuya. I live with them-- the gloves are not for anything specific. I think would be very helpful.

[She has her own pair of gloves, but they get wet fast, and that's usually what makes her fingers go numb the fastest... and she just really likes Kido and Kano and wants to look out for them.]

[fintastic]

They are for keeping hands warm! That's good enough for me.

[ Three pairs of gloves, coming right up, set out on the table. They are a thick, sturdy kind. ]

There you go!

[reassures]

[Nill seems very grateful, and a bright smile spreads across her face as she takes the gloves. She tucks two of the pairs away carefully, and puts one set under her arm, before it occurs to her that there's one more request they might be able to help with.]

Do you have anything purple?

I don't remember seeing any purple. [ She would have snatched it for herself, if she had... ] But if I do, I will let you know!

[reassures]

[Nill smiles again, and nods, seeming relatively pleased even if there was nothing purple to be had. She could find something for Lily elsewhere, she supposed.]

My name is Nill. Thank you again.

[She's met Feferi before, at least twice, but not Sollux - the introduction is more for his sake. Though she figures it also helps with communication, if they ever do get anything purple.]

[ She nods, and looks Sollux's way, expectantly. ]

[peter comes into the transporter area looking approximately half-frozen, as humans go. he's got a hat, gloves and a scarf, but the jacket he's wearing is plainly not intended for this weather, neither are his boots, and his pants are soaked through. he hasn't encountered any of the trolls before, but they only get about two seconds of curious look before he gets to the point.]

So I heard you've got some things to keep us from freezing to death.

[fintastic]

[ Feferi looks up, and gives him a concerned but gentle look. ]

Yes, we do! What do you need?

[ Besides the obvious. ]

[werewolfing]

I've got a list. Don't really know what you got.

[literally, he's made a list on his tablet. it essentially boils down to winter outer gear and thermal underwear for two boys, one a bit bigger than the other, plus a couple of blankets, a space heater, and a cooking range, if they have any. nothing greedy, just bare-bones survival stuff.]

[fintastic]

We've got a whole lot! can I see your list?

[werewolfing]

[he hands her the tablet with the list pulled up. it's nice and specific with clothes and boot sizes even.]

Oh, good!

[ She sets it down and looks it over then starts rummaging through some boxes behind her and--- well, it seems like she just pulls some things from nowhere. Better not to ask. ]

Is this all for just you?

[ Teasing, of course. She's pretty sure one man does not need that many sizes of boots. ]

[werewolfing]

[yeaaaah he doesn't want to know where she's pulling things from, really.]

Yep. I grow and shrink over the course of the month.

[a beat.]

Or I have a roommate with huge feet.

I liked the first one better! That would be a pretty funny power...

[ She's made a space and set some of the boots there, then starts looking over the little pile, and back up. ]

Do you have anything to carry this all with? It's kind of heavy...

[werewolfing]

It really would.

[he looks from the pile to feferi, and back to the pile.]

I was gonna wrap it all up in one of the blankets, truth be told. Might've underestimated a bit.

[fintastic]

[ She looks at Sollux, then at the clock on her tablet, then back up, feeling a little sheepish that she didn't foresee this herself. ]

I can't leave, and I didn't bring any boxes... I should do that next time. Is there anyone you can call to help?

[werewolfing]

Yeah, I'll get the previously mentioned bigfoot to help me out. Some of it I can wear, too.

Oh, I can't take all the credit! I am just handing things out, but I'm not the one who got all this stuff. It wasn't even my idea...

[ Transportation issue solved, she starts stacking the rest of the items on the table; it creaks under the weight. ]
