Summary: Feferi and Kanji are going to be baking together. There may also be serious discussions.
Warnings: Not much? Should be pretty domestic, all told.

There was honestly a lot on his mind, but the thought of baking and making a new friend helped push it away as Kanji made his way down to where Feferi's apartment was. He had a bag with him of likely supplies that he'd managed to find down in the city, and lots of questions he wanted to ask. It was important to know about trolls to be a good friend to one, and maybe Feferi could tell him more. She was really nice and Kanji couldn't help but like her.

Still, he hesitated a little before knocking on the door. "Hey, Feferi-san? It's me, Kanji."

Feferi always has a lot going on on her mind, but it never bother's her-- nor does it mean she doesn't have time to do a little baking. Besides, recent events considered, she'd do well to brush up on her skills again. It's been a long time since she did any regular baking, so a refresher couldn't hurt.

She's prompt to answer the door as soon as she hears someone knocking, throwing it up with a big smile.

"Just Feferi is fine, you know!"

"I'll try to remember." But he rubs the back of his neck in an awkward gesture as he says that. As much as he can be pretty crude, he's generally careful not to be too familiar with people. Some lessons don't fade easy.

"Are you ready for this? I brought some things we might need!"

And that starts a little forced but as he focuses on the thought of doing something fun he brightens and holds up the supplies he brought. Not too much, but useful things.

"Oh yeah!" Leading into the kitchen, she's already got a whole bunch of stuff ready. Eggs, flour, mixers, spoons, the whole works. "So what do you want to make?"

"You said something about pies back when, right? I've never made those before! I tried to get some things that'd be good for fillings. Fruit and stuff."

He puts the bags on the counter and starts pulling things out. He does indeed have different fruit--though some of it is stuff that might only look like fruit because of Exsilium's food situation.

"What kind do you think we should make first?" Because there will be more than one, right?
