The explosions were enough like the sounds from the bombardment that at first Duncan wasn't sure whether approach or staying away was a better course of action. However, the bellowed words convinced him that whoever was responsible for the concussive sounds wasn't UE and likely needed help.

It took him a little time to zero in on the location, echoes from the buildings around throwing him off. As he rounded a final building, he saw what looked to him to be a golem surrounded by swarming dead. Swiftly and silently, he charged into the fray, a moving, slashing target too fast for the undead to seize or bite. He knew he had a better chance of surviving at the side of the one with all the firepower rather than somewhere in his line of sight.

He rolled beneath a grappling attempt and popped up almost beside him, ichor coated blades bristling outward. "Never thought I'd say this to anyone with such an arsenal, but you look as though you could use a hand."
