While Elissa walked and checked the dead, he kept his eyes out for any more enemies on the approach. He felt less inclined to have a look after what he had already encountered but didn't mind giving her the opportunity. There was little to be done for any of them at the moment. He wondered if there would be more pyres later as there had been after the bombardment, his mind straying to any occupying thought that kept it from Fiona.
