Good tidings we bring, to you and your kin!
Date & Time: December 23rd, Afternoon to evening through to the wee small hours.
Location: Somewhere just outside the compound where Thor's set up an outside feasting area.
Characters: All the people Thor has invited to this Yule feast (aka: everyone, including you). Also including baby dragons and tiny robots.
Summary: Yule! It's a time for getting together with family, eating lots of food, drinking lots of mead, sacrificing to the gods and fighting off firebabies and mad tiny robot fireworks. PARTICIPATION IN YULEMAS GONE WRONG IS ENTIRELY OPTIONAL, threads for just chilling and talking are also available.
Warnings: Cheer and goodwill, excessive feasting, some threads will contain fighting. Will update as required (please let me know if a thread heads into graphic territory)!
Plot posts for this bad boy can be found here: Generaly plotting + discussion of fiery dragonlings and here: Firework robot mistakes, oh my!.
Thor's initial post inviting everyone is here: heeeere
It was certainly a humbler sight that Thor was used to- the rude wooden tables and benches surrounding a large bonfire were a far cry from the golden halls of Asgard. But as humans were so fond of saying at this time of year: it was the thought that counted.
And thoughts of cheer and festivity were definitely needed here.
Thor would ensure the weather would hold, staying reasonably warm for the time of year. The bonfire would make sure anyone close to it would definitely keep off the chill. The roast beast was well cooked (and also edible, Thor had ensured that, but he was no game keeper and would not hazard what species it was.) and the mead would flow enough to keep everyone in good spirits.
He took a moment, waiting for the guests to come, to offer up his own prayer to the Norns that they would not see another Yule here. That back home Surtur would be defeated and that the child Loki did, actually, have a plan to see him overcome.
[ooc: Make a thread and tag it accordingly as just celebrating yulemas, or fighting off dragons or robots or both. :3]

OPEN; pre-chaos
He is not quite smiling, but his expression is much lighter than many will have seen it and he is more relaxed than he has been for a long time.]

Open, pre-chaos
Happy Winter Feast! Eat up! I made plenty for everybody! You should try the soup! It's my dad's special recipe!
[From the smells, it's clear that he's quite the cook.]

Pre-Chaos, OPEN
It's good he brought extra food, too, because even with his rather slim build he can eat an unholy mound of food. He's on his fourth plate and doesn't seem to be slowing down.
OPEN --> MECHANICAL CHAOS
No?
Too bad, they're everywhere.]
Pre-chaos, OPEN
After all, the point of these festivities is to make a lot of light, and he is its God.]
CHAOS, CHAOS EVERYWHERE [open!]
And in this instance it turned out to be good reasoning. Her head whipped at the sound of the first whelping's screech and wasted no time running onto the scene.
Suddenly DRAGONS...
DRAGONS EVERYWHERE.
Dragons being obviously malicious which meant no hesitation from her whatsoever in beating the ever loving crap out of them, be it punching, kicking or shooting them with her arm cannon.
The robots proved to be an equal nuisance. They would suffer the same.
PEW PEW PEW.]
