Blaine would have been happy to accommodate Elissa and her rhinestones. There was a good chance she had more bedazzled items than she even knew about, at this point. Blaine took a seat after she did, having filled the cups. He watched her serve herself and sipped from his cup until she was done. If he knew about her appetite, he would have prepared more. As it was he had fixed enough for four people with normal portions. He nodded at her explanation of her clothing situation and gave a smile. He may have been teasing. Maybe. "We should go shopping."
Because nothing could go wrong if Blaine picked out clothes for her... He was in a jean-like pair of pants and a pull over short sleeved shirt. Nothing fancy. He was getting used to not having tailored clothes, even if he hated it and felt shabby.
Taking up the bowl he scooped in a sizeable portion for himself. He wasn't ever shy about eating and he didn't know anyone else who was either. He poured on just enough glaze and set the bowl down. "Just fried rice. A snack for now." His portion didn't exactly look like a snack, though.
"In the spring you should make it a bigger party than just one," he said. There was a tilt to his lips. "Though maybe you just needed an escape." Her stiffness hadn't gone unnoticed, but he was reminded that he didn't know nearly enough about her to do a proper chastising for getting hurt.
