(no subject)

Date & Time: January 4, sometime in the afternoon(?!)
Location: Initiative Hold Library -> Training Room
Characters: Lelouch vi Britannia, Kouzuki Kallen, Sheryl Nome
Summary: In which Kallen takes Lelouch's training into her own hands and/or traumatizes the hell out of him. Sheryl assists!
Warnings: Failouch.

[With the wealth of information available in the library, it had taken Lelouch longer than he cares to admit to settle on a specific area of study. There are too many interwoven topics, for one, and for another, how the hell is he supposed to know which subjects would be rendered moot, if any at all? The whole issue of the Intiative's time travel still throws a wrench into things he hasn't entirely adapted to (the fact that he has yet to participate in any major missions and observe the resulting changes is tremendously unhelpful in this respect), and unless he wants to narrow his focus to that science alone, it's going to continue doing so until further notice. Perhaps that might change if he consults with an expert in the field, but who can he ask if not another Transport? What if their knowledge of how things operate in their universe differs from how they do in this one? Is there even that much room for variation? What way is there to know?

The words printed on the aging page he's currently mulling over begin to blur with his growing headache, but stubbornly, he lifts the book closer to his face and resists the urge to squint. He's seated at an otherwise empty table, two stacks of three books apiece resting to his left while another book and his netbook lay open at his right. From the looks of things, he hasn't moved from the spot in a while, and it seems unlikely that this is about to change.]
