Spontaneous Combustion. [CLOSED]

Date & Time: Monday the 6th around 11:00 and after Asami's morning spar.
Location: The border between the Outlands and The City.
Characters: Asami Sato and Lee Chaolan
Summary: Lee had agreed to let Asami watch him test out a few things in his workshop.
Warnings: Well...that can be edited as needed.

With his tools lined up, some of them were made while others were repaired to use, Lee had set up the cannon for another test. The gas he chose to use was one that occurred naturally from the ground. He wasn't sure how well this would work and the spark plug had to be cleaned from the last time he used it.

The doors hung lazily on their hinges, a simple brick held the two panels open. The isolated garage that he made into his workshop was the perfect location for now to test. He hoped to have something better in the near future.

He placed his face to the sight so he could change the angle slightly. The trigger was pulled. The loud bang was heard and the whistle that soon followed, hit the side of the building across from the garage with a thud and the glass shook before it shattered in a ring like pattern. Loose shards fell to the ground with a crash.

He moved to his device and marked off digitally that acetylene was the best to use. He still wanted to test more. There was propane, methane, ethylene, ammonia, arsine, butane, carbon monoxide, cyclopropane, ethane, ethyl chloride, hydrogen, isobutan, methyl chloride, propylene and silane. Each of these were in small pressurized containers no bigger than a hair spray can and some of these gasses he had to extract from unlikely sources and refine them from other places while he was smelting metals to make the cannon.

He pursed his lips while he took his notes. "Hm, it needs more..." Hopefully, he could find a way to make a viable fuel for a growing need where resources were so limited. Propane, butane, methane, carbon monoxide and ammonia were common. So very common. They came from the rotting vegetation and the rain was pushing down the gasses into the ground. There were pockets of it everywhere. It was mining it that was going to be tricky.

He was deep in thought as he sketched out his ideas for a venting extruder. Why let them escape when he can trap them, liquify it and sell it? It wasn't derived from crude oil and the refining process was simply a matter of condensing the gasses into a liquid form. "Why do they need my help with this?" It seemed almost too simple. He tapped his pen to his chin. "What is going on here?" Something simply didn't make any sense.
