He placed the bucket that he used to heat the wax back on the burner and turned off the valve to conserve what little he had in the tank. The smelter constantly stayed running and the heat radiated from the second room.

"It has to set and cool naturally. If I put it in a cold space, the wax would become too brittle and it would ruin the mold." It was a tedious process but necessary.

"About your name," he said as he straightened his back, "I'll make sure not to give that away. Face to face is a different matter." He smiled.
