you can find him basking in the sun's rays every now and then, but he participates in horse riding just as well. he's always wanted to learn, after all... and this place--it's like nothing he's seen before. there's more and more reason to explore the wilderness as much as he can.
besides. he's not good at persuading. he tries once or twice, but meets glares and sniffs of derision, so he thinks to just... keep to himself.
there is... one thing, though.
when treading into a shop, he finds a frustrated shopkeeper, packing up an instrument. with a bit of bartering, he's walking out with a slightly beaten saxophone. it's been a little more than forty years since they were first made--so he doesn't think of it much, but with some prep, he does start to play it. it sounds sweet, and attracts some attention...
... so, if he can use this to benefit their cause for the moment, he'll play the pied piper. he's out and plays quite often with his saxophone all over town, stopping in a saloon every now and then. money is sparse; he could use a little bit to quench his thirst, though he gives the other to other transports. playing a supportive role is just as important. ]
