Bucklander Tweens or What Hobbiton thinks of as "Wild Children Everywhere" [OPEN]
Date & Time: January 20th
Location: Outside around the Hold, various restaurantstotally not about to sneak into them, about to cause trouble with some of the merchants. Also enjoying the snow that Jack Frost brought on; be careful, a snowball might be aimed at you.
Characters: Frodo Baggins (aged down to tween years). OPEN!
Summary: Frodo has been caught in the time disruption and aged down to his more rascal, irresponsible days. He'll be getting into trouble.
Warnings: None so far!
A - The Hold: wandering/poking his nose in people's business
So many Big Folk, and at least one hobbit. For Frodo, who had only seen the odd dwarf or Big Folk traveling to and from Bree, he found himself staggered by how different and funny they all looked. And some certainly acted even odder than all the matrons warned him off. Some seemed wild and dangerous, others as heroic as the stories, and some, downright funny.
He'd find a way back, but right now, he wanted to see all that he he could of the Big Folk.
---
B - Snow
Frodo Baggins, as he stood looking around in wonder, had never been more convinced of anything in his entire life of this one fact, and that was this; Jack Frost had to be a Wizard. And not a wizard or even just any Wizard, but maybe even better than Gandalf. And that was saying a lot! Frodo liked his fireworks, and very dearly at that. He couldn't think of any hobbit that didn't. Gandalf, some said, could disappear with a flash and a shower of fireworks. He could also spirit hobbits away to far off lands with a simple knock on the door and they vanished together in a gout of smoke. Sometimes never to be seen again, or like Bilbo, returned richer and odder, more fun and brave and certainly much less respectable.
As Frodo spun dizzily in the snow for a moment with a loud laugh, he had to admit that he didn't think even Gandalf could make it snow!
Oh, he was going to enjoy this!
---
C - Restaurant/Merchant mischief
Hobbits, while unremarkable creatures to the average person, do have one very special gift, and that was the ability to move nearly unseen when they wish, and silently. Like all things, it took a little practice at first. Frodo was proud to say that he was about as silent as grown up already. The hobbit crept up, silent as a shadow, and peered around the corner. The smell of food hung heavy in the air.
Any moment now, he would make his move. Frodo darted a glance left, than right. This seemed no more dangerous than going after Old Maggot's fields. He didn't think he could hear any dogs...
