She's actually on her way to go find Sakura on that first day -- after all, now that the mission was over with, she wanted to see how her best friend was doing. She wasn't exactly expecting to bump into a child on the way there, though. As she glances down to make sure the kid is alright, she comes across an even more surprising sight.

Even if she hadn't known Sakura since they were kids, it would have been obvious who stood in front of her. Her experience in Paradisa thankfully keeps her from being surprised at Sakura's current age, and she kneels down to eye level with her, eyebrows raised in concern.

"Sakura? Are you alright?"
