( closed ) run for cover we are
Date & Time: during the event
Location: around the city
Characters: Ygritte and Arya
Summary: TALKING ABOUT JON SNOW and being younger
Warnings: at most, language?
This time wasn't any different when she first appeared. She was distrusting as ever, though the difference this time was she didn't really care about the talking tiny people on the-- thing. Whatever it was. She was more preoccupied with finding shelter, finding food. It had kept her out in the city most often. Ygritte knew enough about bartering to get her by.
This day, she'd traded some meat to one of the places on the outskirts of the city. She was given hot bread in return and some bits of cheese. It worked well enough for her. It's what she was eating as she kept walking, her spear strapped to her back. She walked heavily, still in search for the turncloak Crow. He was off to meet the King Beyond the Wall, and she needed to be there.
She kept her eyes out for anything familiar, other Crows, other raiding parties, the King himself. But nothing was familiar. That is until she saw a girl, not far down the row. She moved closer, eyes watching her. The face, definitely. She knew those eyes, the way she held herself.
"Oi, you," she nodded toward her. "Nice sword you've got there."

Besides she doesn't think Robb would make her kneel. He may be king, but he's her brother too.

"But you know the Night's Watch. Do you know many of them? By name and such?"

Ygritte peered at the girl. If Jon was younger, they could be nearly twins. "You some Southern lady then?"

Needle feels heavy at her side.
"You're a liar. Jon wouldn't. When I find him, I'll prove it."
Whirling on her heel, she stalks off.
