There was one person who told me something when I furst arrived. He said that appurrantly the government in this world had become too oppurrsive and that these people are trying to gain back power or something. That's about all he seemed to know though and I furgot to ask who told him so who knows if that's even correct. [She has to agree with him that it is kind of frustrating, especially since from what she understands they were dragged to this place on purpose]
