Stretching wings [Open]

Location: About the city and surrounding outlands.
Characters: Crucible and Open!
Summary: Crucible looks to getting out of the apartment at times to stretch his wings and resume his searches for a suitable lair as well as observing the city and its inhabitants from above.
Warnings: None thus far.


With the lack of water nearby that could be safely utilized for a good swim, Crucible took to evening flights over the city and occasionally out over the outlands, his flights carrying him to the edges of the other dragons territories yet made no inclination to press too far in. The last few weeks had given him a number of things to think on, a sudden acquisition of room mates from newest batch of transports, both seemed pleasant enough, as well as a new ally from Krynn, though one who still held many secrets he felt, it had him curious but none too concerned.

At times in between flights he would occasionally find a sturdy enough building and rest atop it, watching those walking the streets below. At others he would occasionally walk the streets themselves in his massive form, being careful not to cause any damage as he walked. Only taking his human form when he reached the hold and had to shrink down to be able to fit within its walls and that of the housing complex.

Closed to Cedric

After speaking with a wizard by the name of Cedric over the network, Crucible had been curious to meet the wizard in question. After having agreed to meet and receiving a message from Cedric letting him know that he was on his way, Crucible had made his way to the park in question, the remnants of one that was. Nonetheless it served as a suitable area with a few still intact areas that would give the other cover from the rain and had plenty enough room for all one hundred and fourty feet of the dragon in question.

Setting himself down in the center of the park, seemingly oblivious to the constant rain as he waited patiently for the one he had agreed to meet.

Sohki had seen the dragon flying around the city. There appeared to be many different types trapped here within this world, so he was hardly surprised to see the flying reptile. That didn't mean that his curiosity hadn't been caught either, despite the fact that he had met with more than his fair share of dragons throughout his life.

The question that ran through his mind, however, was whether or not this dragon was one who held a level head, or was more like the Dragon King, Naga. That was why Sohki remained seated unperturbed by the sight of the large dragon marching down the street. Chuckling lightly to himself, he sipped happily on his tea before he glanced with his closed eyes towards the winged reptile.

"You're being awfully considerate for a dragon~" Sohki cheerfully announced. Much like how the dragon took human form within the hold, Sohki was almost constantly in human form, just as he was now as he sat at the small table in his regal clothing and watched with his constantly closed eyes.

Collette watched the dragon from afar, keeping her much smaller eagle form away from its glittering, massive bulk. There was something majestic in watching a creature so massive defy gravity and pass through the leaden skies. She admired it as she circled thermals, watching as it came down to rest on one of the buildings that might just support its mass.

Geez, everyone was a rooftop dweller. When the dragon appeared to be staying for the moment, she slowly circled closer.

< Mind company for a little while? > she asked in Thought Speak, a curious mental tone that would carry to Crucible's mind.

Ricasthix glanced up from his own building-top perch to see Crucible flying overhead. He had spoken to the other dragon before, but only over the network. As such it came as something of a surprise that Crucible was about three times his size. He ducked his head down out of ancient instincts acknowledging a greater force than himself.
