Perhaps it isn't so surprising though as it was a lot to take in. After only just figuring out one thing, she is suddenly thrust into another and it leaves her tripping over her own feet in order to try and find some sort of solid ground to stand on. Instead though she can only find herself going over her everything over and over again, frowning silently as she tries not to mix one thing up with another as she looks to everything she has been given upon her arrival. If anything, there was clearly other people here... other people that could definitely help answer any questions she did have and would no doubt continue to have for the next few days to come.
Then there was the whole subject concerning the key she is currently turning over in her hand. She had said that there would be two other people she would be staying with and Madoka can really and truly only wonder just what kind of people would be waiting on the other side of that door. Maybe they could be of help too: help understanding this place, help put her mind at ease what they left behind back in their home worlds and what it would mean until they could go back home.
These are all thoughts that have been swirling around constantly in her head until she finds her attention draw to the steps and the boy on the steps, blinking curiously before approaching with a smile. “Um, hello! These... these are the apartments where everyone stays, right?”
After all, it doesn't hurt to try and make new friends.
sorry about the wait ;;
