Nill knows it's mostly meant to himself, but she still brightens a little bit when he says it. It's rare that people see what she's capable of, even if this is practice, and even rarer that she's praised for it. She can't help but be a little proud of herself.

After taking a moment to check her pockets, she pulls her tablet out of one of them. Instead of nodding, she types up a message, and holds it up for him to see.
