Coby's smiled turned a bit more faint, wondering more about what Toph really meant by that than actually considering her questions. He was tempted to dive right into his notebook to jot those things down, but realized it was rude to do that during a casual conversation. Unless he figured she would have been alright by that kind of evaluation, Coby decided to distance himself from being a giant bookworm.
