Date & Time: March 7th, right after mission return
Location: barely out of the city, on the way to Koltira's cabin, sorry Bariyan couldn't make it that far
Characters: Koltira Deathweaver (
pulseplz), Bariyan e Kodhi (
manpained)
Summary: Bariyan's gotta figure out how to survive in this body without killing anything
Warnings: brariyan. sorry.
[ He didn't see Martin immediately after they returned to Exsilium, and didn't have time to search or call for the boy again. Bariyan's head had been overloaded with sensation. There'd been pain shooting through his nerves, cold air on his skin, blood in his mouth from where he'd split his lip open while biting it.
And there were people, everywhere, the city crawling with them. His mind had crackled with need. He'd nearly reached for the sword, before the rest of him snapped out and forced his body -- Koltira's body -- onto its feet.
But his own will could only carry him for so long. When the streets emptied out and started to give way to ruin, he went to his knees again.
He tries to tell himself to get up, now. To keep moving. Martin will find him, or Koltira, or someone who can help, he just has to get out of the city first, he has to keep moving. But all he can do is claw at his face with armored hands that are not his own, and whimper quietly into his palms. ]
