one fire to the next [closed]
Date & Time: April 13th, evening.
Location: Lee's place.
Characters: Billy Cranston and Lee Chaolan
Summary: Billy's spent the last year in another war. To everyone else, it's been two days. He wishes to discuss this strange discrepancy and his experiences with one of his most trusted work partners.
Warnings: Possible mentions of character death and violence
Billy has spent the entire walk to Lee's place in constant thought. Keeping his mind active is a good way to keep it fresh---he silently recites facts and memories and he focuses on familiar faces. The last thing he wants to do is forget the past year as easily as he forgot two more. His faulty memory was more the fault of the forces at work than his own, but he needs to feel in control of his mind to feel comfortable.
Mind reeling with the sudden shift in scenery, he knocks on the door. Time to free all of this turmoil from his head. "Lee, hey! It's me. Is the coffee ready yet?"
