Location: A suitably large private training room suitable for magic use in the Hold
Characters: Crucible and Onyx AKA Khisanth
Summary: Crucible continues to train Onyx in magic and decides it is time to bring up the issue of her true identity.
Warnings:Bronze and Black dragon, what could possibly go wrong? None for the moment but we shall see.
It had been many weeks ago that he had first offered to aid in the training of the mage from Krynn who went by the name of 'Onyx'. After their initial encounter he was pleasantly surprised that she had returned after confirming what he had told her. He had had his suspicions that she was more than she presented herself as from the start, yet he never pried during their lessons, merely observed as he trained and imparted his knowledge in the ways of magic.
That she was adept in the ways of magic was quite clear, picking up far more easily on the magic he taught than any normal human. In addition her magic itself was clearly not of a student of Wayreth, more akin to that of a sorcerer of later ages or indeed that draconic magic he was most familiar.
It was that, along with many other slight hints and mannerisms that lead him to his conclusions and yet he continued to teach her. Only deciding to broach the subject after he was quite certain, their lesson for the day at an end, having just finished teaching her the ways of creating a lesser Globe of Invulnerability.
"You have performed quite admirably, Onyx, there are few mages on Krynn who would be able progress and advance their understandings as yourself," He comments as he brings their lesson to an end, "There is a matter, however that I wish to speak with you about before you depart,"
