It wasn't a huge loss to him. To be completely honest the birds weren't doing a whole heck of a lot to keep up his interest at this point, but this girl sure was. If she was upset about the birds then he was more than happy to try to egg her on further. The fact that she poofed them away did nothing more than make one less thing to heckle her with.

And even when she glares at him she doesn't stop laughing. A knife is in his hand again quickly. "It'll be enough when I say it's enough."
