"Strange, isn't it?" Shepard disengages her biotics, the blue glow disappearing. Instead she moves to type on the omni-tool secured to her arm, the screen flickering to life. "I think I have a view videos still recorded on here if you want to see more. I'm nothing compared to seeing an asari in action, really. Or my friend, Jack."
Her eyes flicker over to the girl again, a small smile on her face. "Tell me a little about yourself, Homura. Doesn't have to be anything personal. Or I guess you can stay silent and continue being a mystery."
Shepard understands mystery, understands not like talking about yourself. Her biotics are part of her, but they're something shared by so many other people. Most of the galaxy knows about Commander Shepard, about the horrors of Mindoir and the events of Akuze that won her honors. They know about the geth and Saren, her highly publicized death, know she went through the Omega-4 Relay and come back alive to tell the tale. But nobody knows the intimate details.
Still, it doesn't mean she wouldn't like to know a little bit more about the girl.
