The device sat on a rock beside the fire-- if you can call it that. The embers burned low, and there was bits of metal set atop it. She didn't know what Remy was going to need, so she kept what she had out. Ygritte never needed much, not like those fancy feasts they had down south. Sure, if a harvest was good, but even if a raid was, one never overfilled their cup above the Wall. Not if you wished to see another night.
Things were mostly cleaned in the camp, not clean exactly, but she didn't have much to clutter it. Her furs were rolled up, and she wore a simple tunic and pants Gwen made her. She bent over the fire, adding a bit more kindle. It was too hot to spoke it, but she figured whatever meat he was bringing would need to cook as well.
