He smiled when the boy raised his voice authoritatively again, and then chuckled helplessly.
"Well, I, ah..." He lifted his hand and summoned the chakram again, the spiky wheel shimmering into his hand. "I kinda never leave home without 'em, you see. It's not even really a conscious choice."
And he quickly dismissed it again, not wanting to give the boy the wrong idea.
"In any case, what happened? Did they want your lunch money or something?"
