[Open]
Date & Time: June 24, during the day.
Location: Within the city.
Characters: Ico, OPEN.
Summary: A group of children bully Ico and a fight begins.
Warnings: Violence.
[Five children surrounded Ico. Their ages varied though they were all near his age. They teased him for his strange clothing and especially for his horns. Ico was smaller than they were and he had a tendency to wander alone, which made the children feel in control. He tried to understand for as long as he could. The recent attack along with the sudden change in the citizens' mood made it obvious to him that most citizens were only looking for someone to blame.
The event escalated quickly when they began to grab his Mark and pull his horns. Within seconds, it turned into a bitter fight. Children, Ico included, shouted at each other while punching and kicking.]

She's kicking a stone across the ground as a bored distraction when she hears the children. At first she thinks it might just be playing, but when she gets closer, she notices the boy in the middle. A Transport, if those horns were any indication. Are they fighting? All those kids, against one?]
Oi! Leave him alone! [She doesn't like it, the idea of hitting someone younger than her, but the horned boy is clearly outnumbered, and so she rushes to grab one of the children by the collar and roughly shove him away.] Get out of here!

Hm. Though maybe actions would speak louder than words. With a sly grin, he summoned one of his chakrams and sent it soaring into the center of the circle of children, one of the points driving into the ground just in front of the horned boy. The children froze and slowly turned to look at him, startled.
Axel just grinned. This might be more fun than he'd expected.
"Didn't anybody ever tell you it's not nice to gang up on people?" he asked. "Really, now, where's your sense of fair play?" He looked at the boy with the horns then and lifted one hand as if in invitation. "Whaddaya say, short stuff--think one of me's worth five'a them?"

They have better imaginations, they're small, childish, not typically the type to remain and argue or disbelieve what they see. Easy pickings. That's Mallory's take on it, in any case, and, as she is prone to lurking through the streets of the city, the sound of fighting kids draws her.
She cuts through the alleys as she comes near, pulling in debris and trash as her original, mostly human form begins to change and grow. Her preferred shape for scaring requires some extra mass, but by the time she reaches them, she's easily procured it.
As the children pick and grab at Ico, a raspy voice sings out from nowhere in particular, simply 'around' them. ]
Oh dears, little children mustn't fight. [ Following that, out of the shadows (quite literally out from them) and dreary rain comes, first, two great big glowing green eyes, followed by massive jaws with sharp scrap metal teeth and breath stinking of trash. ] No, no, little children should...
[ The full form of the beast finally lunges out, towards the group, sneering widely. It is a great black creature, wolf-shaped, but larger than any normal wolf should be. Certainly larger than any of the children. ]
SCREAM!

[ for the illness he'd contracted quickly, he'd been healed of it quickly. larsa felt much better than he had in weeks; dressed in plainclothes, he called out for his friend. he'd heard that ico would've been out and about, and he knew ico was one to wander--but when he'd finally found the scrimmage, he gave a jolt and leaped forwards. tiny as he was, larsa wasn't too strong--and he had no weapons to scare them and feared using magic in case of hurting them severely. ]
Ico! [ he tried to call through the mess of limbs, trying to reach out for him, pushed back and shoved as he was. ] Leave him be! Desist!

[Ya don't pick on Sonic's friends like that. Not really thinking, just DOING, he lands amid the circle of kids and counts on the scare and his, well, hedgehog-ness to cause them to stop.]
Think you're all pretty big picking on a little guy, huh? C'mon, Ico, let's get you out of here!
