Summary: Sheena's checking in like she promised.
Warnings: Tsunderes and feelings and failure everywhere.
[It's kind of late. Sheena knows this, but she doesn't really care. She hesitates before knocking quietly on the door to Zelos' apartment. Hopefully she can catch him before he's left for the night shift. If not, she'll just leave the food and go, and they can talk later. Or never.
But... there's something nagging at her. She hasn't been entirely reasonable with him lately, and this is the best she can do for an apology.
Her grip on the edges of the covered bowl tightens slightly. She looks to the side, waiting for someone to answer the door.]

[Sheena feels like shrieking. It's not terribly uncommon when she's around Zelos, but to be honest? She's not sure she doesn't have feelings for him and she really doesn't want to dwell on that right now. Because it's a terrible idea. Everything about it is goddamn awful, and everything in her wants to save him, and it's too late.
If she really doesn't care about him, then why... why is her throat so tight?]
... Even after the war's over, I have more important things to worry about. [She's not sure when her grandfather is going to step down, but it's likely to happen within the next two years, since he already named her and everything. Maybe once they're settled in the new world.
How can she think of anything like that when someone who needs her help is right in front of her?]

[At least it's gotten a bit away from him. Even if it's a subject about a world he'll never see again. Not his favorite, but more willing to talk about]
Yeah, I guess you guys will be pretty busy. [What with the worlds reunited and everything a giant mess]
But hey, don't put things off forever. Make sure to live your life too, before you become an old maid or something.

I don't like to think too far ahead. What I saw in my future before didn't happen. I mean, I'm glad it didn't happen, but I thought about it for so long that I never tried to change it.

I thought I'd be exiled from my village and... end up dead somehow, probably because someone wanted revenge.
[She's not too proud of that thought.]
That's why, when Kuchinawa demanded that I come with him... I didn't even think twice about it.

[he remembers that, how willing she was to just give up her life like that. How much it pissed him off and freaked him out, even if he was planning on doing the same thing later]

Though his statement is quiet, it means a lot. She might call him a friend but he doesn't-- really say stuff like that, not frequently. Only when it counts. Her hands hesitate around the edges of the lid, and then she presses it down to lock the container.]
I'm not sure it was something I chose. It just... happened.
[She had no idea the journey would go the way it did.]
Anyway... There's plenty to worry about right in front of me, right now, so...

[He rubs the back of his neck, feeling a bit awkward after saying something nice like that. But...he can take a guess what some of the things to worry about it]

She slides a hand into the back of her obi and pulls out the tablet. A brief glance at the digital clock tells her that it's getting kind of late. If she's not back for dinner, Axel and Riku might go looking for her or something. Honestly? She's kind of exhausted. Talking to Zelos is always exhausting in a way, but she keeps saying the wrong thing...
She gently pushes in her chair, fingers lingering across the top of the wood.]
I should probably head back. [A pause.] Um, if you need anything...
[God, she's so bad at this.]

[He'll clear his throat, forcing himself to snap out of anything, before giving a lazy smile back]
Aha- right. Your roommates might start to worry.

[This is so damn awkward. She doesn't wait for him to show her the door-- considering he's on crutches-- but she gives him one last wave before leaving the apartment.
She has a lot to think about.]
