It's not that Steph is following Alisha, it's just that she's been trailing a group of drunk Exiles who wandered out of a bar a few minutes ago and are heading on a path that'll have them meeting Alisha.

Steph knows the worst they're likely to do is catcalling and getting up in Alisha's space a little, but that's still more than anyone should have to put up with, especially in a strange city, especially when tensions between Exiles and Transports are running so high. She picks up her pace so that she slips ahead of them, making her way down to ground level so that she's approaching the girl she'd spotted from head on, rather than sneaking up on her.

Sometimes, there's an advantage to be had in appearing seemingly from nowhere, but times like this it's better to walk under a street light and make sure the person she's heading towards can see her, even if she stills cuts a bit of an intimidating figure in the Batgirl suit.

"Hey," She's still a good few feet away from Alisha when she greets her with a little wave, a polite, if a bit wry, smile on her lips, "You need help with directions or anything?"

She'd rather not open with there's a bunch of drunk men heading this way, since there's no point in worrying the girl if she doesn't have to.
