She watched him with an amused expression, but there was something that made her feel sort of bad for it. Like he was so not used to laughing or smiling or anything that was typically normal for people in this kind of situation. It reminded her that, despite the craziness of her life back home, despite how she would never be able to go back to whoever the old Chloe had been, she did have it pretty good.
