The Party.
Date & Time: July 1st
Location: The Fairy Tail Pub
Characters: Natsu, Lucy at first and then everyone who got Erza's invitation to the party
Summary: Birthday party for one celestial mage.
Warnings: none except most likely high levels of crack
His task had been pretty straightforward. Keep Lucy away from the pub no matter the cost. That was something Natsu with his endless reserves of energy could pull off quite easily. First he'd taken Lucy out on the pretext of doing some more training.
After that he'd taken them for a quick trip on the outskirts making up a slew of excuses. All the while he kept Lucy focused and whenever she'd get even close to mentioning her birthday, he'd quickly divert the topic with another random stunt.
So after what felt like years of fun and fooling around, Natsu finally got the signal from Erza that they were ready. Just in time too as Lucy seemed on the brink of snapping if he suggested one more hairbrained adventure. Either that or she'd just flat out go home for the day.
By the time they reached the end of the street leading to the bar, Natsu was having trouble containing himself. He couldn't wait to see the look on Lucy's face.
