[ Cesare dresses with the times. As utilitarian as he might be, he is also vain and thirsty for awe and approval from Italy's greater families. It would also show that he is wealthy, even when he wears all black and nothing but a Cardinal's ring on his right hand.

All the items mentioned only makes his frown deepen as he slowly shakes his head. ]
