summer fling don't mean a thing
Date & Time: Backdated to the beach mission because i do what i want
Location: Dino Beach
Characters:Bill and Sookie Azrael and Artemis
Summary: Artemis checks to make sure that his vampire is safe from all that gross sunlight.
Warnings: nothing yet but who knows, man.
He felt somewhat guilty. Artemis had been enjoying the fresh air and warm water for the entire day, but with a constant nagging at the back of his mind that reminded him that Azrael was unable to do the same. He had periodically taken a break from swimming or roaming the beach to make his way back to check on the vampire.
Immediately upon arrival, a tent had been set up under the shadiest trees to be found, and it had been warded with every spell possible to ensure that sunlight was not going to make its way inside-- either by accident or through someone's ill intent. Not that Azrael had enemies that Artemis was aware of, of course, but it was better safe than sorry. His fretting throughout the day had largely consisted of returning to the tent and ensuring that Azrael was still sleeping soundly, lingering for several minutes before returning to the beach.
Now that the sun was finally slipping beyond the horizon, he followed the now-familiar path to the tent, hoping that Azrael would at least be able to enjoy their time on the beach once night had fallen.
