Fixer-upper is still better than a cot. [She's really hoping there aren't some sort of giant mutant future cockroaches here] We should also look into how to make it more defensible, in case anyone from home turns up we don't want dropping by without permission.

A bit. Plumbers were a luxury we didn't always get, so my dad and brother and I would do some of it. Not sure this sort of pipe work is going to have much in common with downtown Gotham though.

This is why you get to have the fixer-upper instead of the cot. ( Obviously she becomes friends with Renee in the future for good reasons. ) I got all the windows on the ground floor boarded up, but that's about the extent of it so far.

( Windows are boarded and so far all the essential places that required stair access have ramps for Barbara, but definitely, definitely needs more work.

And an appreciative nod. ) I tried to fix up my own place here and there, but usually it was easier to just call someone in. ( Eccentric millionaire she may be, but while she is prepared to play with electricity, water mains were another matter. ) Between you, me and Jaime we might have it sorted.
