Summary: In an effort to promote COMMUNITY OUTREACH the DITR hosts an open house! Free food and drink - you can't say no to that.

( IT'S A PARTY. THERE IS MUSIC OF QUESTIONABLE TASTE - PROBABLY ONE OR TWO ONE HIT WONDERS FROM THE 1980S ON REPEAT BECAUSE THAT'S ALL THEY COULD FIND UNTIL ANNE SINGS. THERE IS ALSO FOOD, BUT IT'S MUCH BETTER THAN THE MUSIC. THINK OPEN HOUSE FOOD - CHEESE AND CRACKERS AND MEATS AND LOTS OF DAINTY DESSERTS.

A party is an excuse to drink and eat in excess so we can then genuinely praise the host for his generosity.

[ He downs the rest of his wine. It's up for question how many he's had but then he hardly shows it. ]

Of course some may prefer to spend the time talking.

That makes me more a talker than...someone excessive I suppose.

[ So not mentioning his drinking speed. ]

A good talk is like a nice meal though, or at least I think so.
