Date & Time: Sept. 6 - Early Evening

Summary: Lucy requires a second attempt at a girl's night out to take her mind off of things. Stuff Happens.
Warnings: Uh.... n...o...n...e?

[ Whenever she wasn't training or otherwise occupied, Lucy felt that absence of Loke's key. It hurt every time, to think about, to reach for that key she knows isn't there. In her apartment, shesat on the couch with the keys spread out in front of her, arms folded.

But moping for too long was not Lucy's style, and she hadn't seen her other friends in a while, so ... a girl's night out would be a -great- way to take her mind off things. It couldn't possibly end the way the last one did, right? Thus she sent a few messages out and retreated into her bedroom to grab one of her cuter dresses. YEP, a night out is exactly what the doctor ordered! ]

[ Where Lucy will probably be hanging out at the apartment prior to meeting up with the gals, Or perhaps the gals come to the apartment to get their hair did and chat and such before going out. Guuuuuuuuurl. ]

[ WHEREVER THE WIND WILL TAKE US. No seriously. They might go to the bar or club or a nice fancy diner, or the movies, or...well there were plenty of options right? Right! ]

[ And with luck they didn't burn down another bar this time. ._. But after all fun and games have been had, it is time to go home. Or perhaps the evening will end with a sleepover. WHO CAN SAY. ]

[Rise couldn't wait... as soon as she got the message, she was absolutely one hundred percent focused on the goal of a girls' night with Lucy! So... yeah, she probably shows up way early. Or fairly early. It might have taken her a while to get ready. And guess who went shopping in Paris recently?

When Lucy answers the door, she'll see Rise in a very bright and colorful yellow floral minidress (pretty much that whole outfit minus the jacket), carrying a clear plastic poncho because rain everywhere. Nobody can say the girl doesn't come prepared.]

Lucy-chan~! Hey!

[Hope Lucy likes hugs, because she's getting a particularly excited and squeezy one right now. Rise's just really happy about this idea!]

[ Thank heavens. That jacket was icky with that dress. When Lucy opened the door, she hadn't expected sudden hugambush, but she doesn't mind it! ]

Heep! Hi Rise-chan! [ She laughs. It was helpful to get out and check in on her friends now and again after all. Moping about didn't help anyone. ]

You're a little early..!

[Even models in Paris can make poor life choices...

But yes, Rise gives Lucy one last little squeeze before pulling away. She looks a little embarrassed, for getting so excited over something so simple, but still mostly happy.]

Yeah... hope I'm not too early. I just couldn't wait! I had the perfect dress and everything~!

[She does a quick twirl and cute little pose. Whoops, her modeling career is showing...]

[ It's true, and that was certainly a poor life choice for that poor model. ]

Not too early, no. I love your dress though! [ For Lucy's part, she was dressed in a short black and white dress herself. though her hair she hadn't really styled into any particular style. Maybe she's just leaving it down. ]

I was thinking we could check out the clubs and hopefully not burn any down and see what else we can see tonight. I just need some major distractions right now. Is there anywhere you've been wanting to see since you got here?

[She has a dreamy look in her eyes at the thought of shopping in Paris. It's something she always wanted to do, and she never would have thought she could do it after coming here.

Of course, she takes a moment to admire Lucy's outfit (and figure!), too. She hadn't really gotten a good look before attacking the poor girl with hugs.]

Not that anyone's gonna notice me next to you... you look super hot!

[She might be a little jealous again. A little. But she's still riding the high from Paris and being asked to come along tonight, so she's a little closer to her old confident self than she usually is in this place.]

Really? I've never been, but I hear it's beautiful.

[ She pauses to make sure her keys - the celestial ones - are close at hand, tucking them into a pouch in front of her hip. ]

Huh? [ She blushes, even though she's perfectly confident in her looks and doesn't get flustered about such compliments - except when spoken by a certain guy friend ]

Oh come on, Rise-chan, anyone would notice you! You're really cute too! I bet you'll get a couple of guys hitting on you all night.

[ Only HALF teasing. ]

It was! We had to go to some boring conference or whatever, but the rest of it was amazing! I hope you get to see it someday...

[She genuinely does, more than almost anything! More people should get sent to nice places on missions every once in a while, in her opinion. It's the least the Initiative could do for them.

And now it's Rise's turn to blush, but she's summoned up enough of her self-confidence to give Lucy a sly smirk.]

Awww, only a couple? I knew you'd steal a bunch away!

[Punctuated with a wink, just for emphasis on the teasing.]

A conference? Whatever for? [ she grins lightly. ]

It'd be great if I could - better if I could see it and not have to worry about terrible things happening or something..

[ And a blush at the latter, giggling. ]

Hold on now, I'm not stealing anyone away..! [ She has a boyf-- wait, no, no she doesn't. ]

Ah, I just had a thought though... Erza,she's one of my guildmates; she mentioned wanting to head back here after we go. I guess for like a sleepover or something. I can lend you a change of clothes if you want - unless you only want to stay long enough for the festivities. ]

[To say Erza is excited about this would be an understatement. She rarely gets the chance to experience these kinds of exclusive outings. It's rare for Erza to not have some kind of plan for her activities, her deprived childhood often made these kinds of social activities awkward because she either didn't know the proper etiquette or her information on the matter often turned out to be outdated. So this once she would be spontaneous and follow Lucy's lead.

Still this was a simple enough outing; girls only, at night, and out of the house. Erza swears to herself to make sure this night goes perfectly.]

[ And quite frankly Lucy thought it was really adorable, how excited Erza was for a night out like this. As much as she was worrying about the issue with her missing key, she couldn't keep the smile from her face. Erza was always so intimidating even when she wasn't trying, it was neat to see her cuter side like this. ]

There's a club not far from here, so we can take a look and see what it's like if you want. Or if you're hungry we can go to a cafe or one of the restaurants ..we're kind of overdressed for a cafe, I think.

[ The options are given for all of the girls accompanying them, but at the same time mostly phrased towards Erza out of habit. ]

I don't even know... something about plants? Tsubomi-chan was really into it!

[And yes, thankfully, nothing happened. In fact, she looks almost as bright and cheerful now as she did on the beach! Which... is a rare thing, at least here.

She even giggles at Lucy's reaction to her teasing, and brightens up at the suggestion of spending more time with Lucy and her friends. Especially if it's a sleepover!]

Really?! Sure! That sounds great!

[She'll just... not think about whether Lucy has any clothes that would fit her. Trying to stay positive here!]

*A few hours beforehand, a certain short-haired blonde comes up to Lucy... Dressed in her usual showy outfit, which is definitely not suited to anything resembling a typical girl's night out.*

Oh, hi. Thought I'd drop by early...

*... Perhaps some part of her realizes she needs to be talked into something better-suited to what's going to go on tonight?*

[ And as Lucy just assumes that's the kind of thing Pidonus normally wears for a girl's night out, Lucy doesn't correct her. People wear what they wanna wear. ]

Hi Pidonus - I was just speaking with Erza. [ Giggle. ] She's really looking forward to this night out, it seems.

It's going to be nice, yeah.

Just... Being social for the sake of it. Good change of pace, honestly...

*... It is what she always wears, sadly.*

Things don't have to always be gloomy around here - spending all of our time doing nothing but training, eating and sleeping - who wants that?

It's gonna be great just getting out for the sake of it!

Yeah. I've been moping around the apartment so much I can't even think to write anything. Fresh air and a change of scenery ... I think it's just what I need.

I don't know too many places around town though, how about you?

[ She beams at the agreement. ]

Well we have some time yet - if you want we can see if I have anything that will fit you?

[ It might be a little loose on Rise in some places.. ]

[Asami can't go out into the main area of the pub with her hair looking like this. It's a particularly humid night and umbrellas can only do so much to save nice hair, so she makes a beeline to the restroom to commence an attempt to fix it. Of course, she can't go alone in there, so she beckons Lucy before heading in.

Her outfit is simple: dressy red shorts; a loose, three-quarter length black top with a neckline flirtatious to her chest; and short red heels. She has also managed to accumulate jewelry in the duration of her stay in Exsilium, some of which adorn her wrists and ears and neck.

This hair, on the other hand. She rakes her fingers through it, still maintaining composure but clearly displeased with the way it looks. Time to pull out a ribbon and figure out how to salvage this mess.]

... so what kind of things do you do for fun then?

[ It was almost distressing how frizzy one's hair can get out there, so she'd of course accompanied Asami to touch up her own look. And also because bathrooms are the required gossipping location for these sorts of shindigs. She didn't have much in the way of jewelry, but she did have a pair of earrings and a zodiac necklace that she treasured and fiddled with occasionally. ]
