[Lisbeth doesn't know why she joins the others in the Observatory as the live feed shows the island they called home. She's been here a day already and it sucks hard. The food was worse than what it was in Exsilium and most of her showers came out cold. She likes her showers hot and lasting an hour with or without Jesse. Now she saw no point in showering if she was going to be standing underneath a cold water jet for five minutes.
But back to the feed. Maybe it was nostalgia for a place she still hardly knew. Maybe it was disappointment that yet again she was moved to a new place. Or it might have been some grim curiosity of what a nuclear explosion might look like.
Everyone talked about it in theory in her reality. Now she was finally going to see one. With her hands in the pockets of her leather jacket, Lisbeth lifts her head to watch the screen.
