[Because, really, if they could pick people up from different points in time, why not five minutes or an hour later? Or, say, after the world war was over, since the Allies apparently won given that it had taken so long for the Letztes Bataillon to show up again. Well, that and the fact that Seras was clearly speaking in English and Hellsing still existed. Those were pretty damn strong hints, too.]
