[At first glance, it looks the same as any other room, with the neatly emblazoned 190 on a panel by the door. Then you notice the cloves of garlic hanging above the door. And quite possibly a lurking presence in the hallway, but the dorm wings are pretty crowded; it's probably nothing.

[ Strange to hear the word "guardian" tossed around like that. A contrast to what most would think his true job was. But, then again, they did not know what that job was. The usual reaction, yes, but it still never lost its irony. ]
