he watches, shifting in place from foot-to-foot, on the fence about moving to help. because magic. but he doesn't hear any funny magic words or see any sparks, so he finds it alright to drop to a crouch to better peer at the remains. he sniffs, wonders if any smells are odd.
his eyes trail away, though, because none of that magic stuff he's imagining isn't happening, and watches Syllona instead, fixing stares at her arms, the book, her feet...]
