Summary: The awkward first breakfast meeting between new roommates.

Warnings: shouldn't be anything other that Magnus's fowl moods.
Mornings. It's not that he wasn't a particular fan of them - it was more that with mornings came the inevitable reminder of paperwork and other tediousness that was more than likely to present itself during the long day ahead. But it was routine, and with all the complaints he could think of, he went to work and stayed there all night because he actually did enjoy what he did.
But this was entirely different. It felt odd, to wake up in a different bed, to remember of the place he was currently in, to be thoroughly disappointed to discover once again that this wasn't a dream.
Body sore from a restless sleep, Magnus shuffled his way into the kitchen, hand raking through disheveled curls. He needed coffee - something that was constant, and accessible and almost comforting. And while he fumbled around with the coffeemaker - a muttered cuss or two as he tried to figure it all out - he thought he heard another sound behind him, which in turn made him turn around with his half-filled cup, to rest his eyes on a teenager.
Oh, this must be his new roommate. "Well, ugh, morning," he guessed, as he raised the cup lightly, before taking a drink. This was going to be only mildly awkward...
