He looks over at her. Peter's got some mixed opinions on apologies. On one hand, they're an admission that someone fucked up. On the other, that doesn't fix anything, especially since the people most willing to apologize aren't the ones who had anything to do with the fucking up. And that's true here, too. But Steph's not just some rich white girl who's never had to do anything hard or seen what it looks like from the other side of that carefully gated community of class privilege.
