[Closed] The quickest way to know a woman is to go shopping with her.
Date & Time: October 11 (July 2009 Local Time)
Location: Harajuku/Shibuya in Tokyo, Japan
Characters: Pascal, Rise Kujikawa & Asbel Lhant
Summary: No one bargained for a clothes shopping experience quite like this one.
Warnings: Hardcore sales brawling, questionable advertising. (Will update as needed.)
[It's unlike anything he's ever seen. As Asbel and the girls make their way around the corner, a huge crowd spreads before them, filling sidewalks and roped-off areas snaking around storefronts. The most prominent of these stretches into the sky. Just how many floors of clothing must that one building alone contain?! Gaping openly, Asbel takes in the other shops, each decorated with its own unique style. Some feature drawings of cat-eared and rabbit-eared characters, others have dummies posed in the windows modeling the latest fashions. The one directly ahead is accompanied by trees covered with hundreds upon hundreds of balloons and a very prominent image of a girl with balloons stuffed into her shirt. That's definitely...um. Different?]
[But Asbel's more concerned by the sheer number of potential customers here. It'd be easy for them to get lost or separated from one another - assuming the lines ever get moving. He turns to check on his two companions.]
Whoa, I didn't expect this many people! Is it always like this?

[Pascal is, of course, looking at some of the most crazy fashions out there, right out of the gate...]

Pretty much! At least, that's what I hear. I've never actually been to the sales before!
[Just because she's sticking with Asbel doesn't mean she can't be openly friendly with Pascal, either, and she giggles at her reaction.]
I bet we'll find lots of great stuff~!
[She's already dressed in one of her cutest outfits - lace and frills and giant hair bows and all. But she's determined to find some more cute things while she's here! It's a chance she can't possibly pass up!]

Huh. They seem like a big deal around here. We never had anything like this back on Ephinea. And if you wanted better prices, you usually had to haggle for them.
[Which, depending on the seller, could end up being a challenge. Unless you were a pro with those stamp cards, at least. Asbel turns his attention to Pascal and the especially creative display she's checking out.]
Yeah, Pascal! Those are, um, different.
It'd be great if we had a few days to see it all, but we should try to remember what we came here for, okay? So I guess we'll need to find things in a bunch of different styles and sizes to accomodate the other Transports.
